Willow Grove in New Brunswick

Travelling west from the village of St. Martins, New Brunswick, shortly after passing Fairfield, there is a sign in a meadow. This sign is for a Black settlement burial ground. Just behind the sign is a large cross and a tiny church. Stopping to take a closer look reveals the story of a small but vibrant Black community that once existed there.
