The Black Canadian Experience: A Vertical Cross-Curricular Approach

Should Black students see themselves in the curriculum in every discipline? This presentation answers that question with a resounding YES! There are aspects of the Black Canadian experience that fit into all subject areas. You name the subject area; we provide you with the knowledge along with concrete suggestions of ways you can bring it alive in your classroom. Modeling and ready to use resources make this a practical and meaningful professional development opportunity for all educators.
