In today’s multicultural classrooms, culturally relevant and responsive pedagogy is critical to meeting not only the academic needs of students but also in affirming identity and belonging. Geared towards educators, curriculum writers, as well as those preparing resources for use in the classroom, this workshop defines CRRP and, through statistics, shows why it is necessary and effective. Practical examples of CRRP in action are provided. Attendees will be better equipped and motivated to incorporate CRRP into their practices.
