Ancestral African Excellence focuses on Ancient Africa’s Achievements and Global Contributions. It challenges and dispels misconceptions about Africa’s past, highlights and re-discovers Africa’s contributions to the world with the goal of inspiring pride and appreciation for African heritage. The knowledge provided in this workshop will supplement studies in courses such as World History, Deconstructing Anti-Black Racism, Equity and Social Justice, and Black Canadian History. Students and educators and education stakeholders will benefit from this presentation.
